Sgurr Fiona, Bidean a Ghlas Thuill

8.5 miles, 1420m ascent, 6 hours 30 mins

Despite a much poorer day with stiff winds and mist we set off for the traverse of An Teallach starting from the East.  I mistakenly took the wrong trail off  Cadha Gobhlach and judging from the small path am not the first.  It didn't take much to decide that the pinnacles weren't for us given the strong wind and damp rock, but the traversing path and subsequent ridge walk to the final top of Creah nan Eich were most enjoyable.  I wish I could say the same for the second half of the descent to the loch which was steeply inclined deep heather of a height that threatened to swallow Ben up.  Despite this, it didnt last too long with gravity acting in our favour and the walk along the loch, playing in the little beaches was a delight.
