Stuchd an Lochain - Meall Bhuidhe

14.1 miles, 1460m ascent, 8 hours 2 mins

A real treat to end the year.  A few hundred metres above the dam, we rose above the fog to the brilliant sunshine lighting up the heavy hoar frost laden slopes.  Lunch was taken back down at the dam before rising above the mists once more.  Our reward for adding a Corbett at the end of the day was a glorious sunset; the Lawers peaks rising above the sea of mist.
