Creag Leacach - Glas Maol

12.0 miles, 1100m ascent, 6 hours 30 mins

We finally departed at 11.30 after having driven up, rather toiling up the Corbett and the long ridge over to Creag Leacach, with only artic hares relieving undoubted tedium.  Most of the heavy snows of the past week had departed and what remained was saturated.  Indeed we waded through slush on Glas Maol.  The walk down the valley was just long enough to witness a fiery sky before we gladly accepted a lift near the end from a friendly farmer.
