Carn Liath – Braigh Coire Chriann Bhalgain – Beinn a Ghlo

12.7 miles, 1350m ascent, 7 hours 50 mins

This mountain must be fated for me.  On the only other occasion I've climbed it, I lost an ice axe whilst bumsliding, and on this day I lost my video camera.  It must have fallen out of my down jacket pocket after filming Ben heather tobogganing down the slopes off the last munro - an expensive loss, particularly as i really liked the camera.  Ben maintained a decent pace on the walk itself but we never really ascaped the cloud and saw little, but until the very end when I discovered my loss, we had a very good walk with the undoubted highlight being the bumsliding down the steep heathery slopes on thick hoar frost.  Its a great shame the video will never see the light of day.
