9.3 miles, 1020m ascent, 4 hours 30 mins
After a fraught journey on the train the previous day which forced us to camp at Dingwall, we had to hitch from there to Loch a Bhraoin. This took all morning, so we didn't begin our walk until after lunch. Fortunately, Ben was in good spirits and we were back at the tent in good time for tea and a session of stone throwing in to the loch which was perfectly still.
