16.5 miles, 2410m ascent, 12 hours 15 mins
A bit of a monster day to end our week. Spurred on by almost cloudless skies and the promise of a hot day, I coaxed Ben up the unyielding grass slopes leading up to Ciste Dubh, then on to his 100th Munro. Having got our feet wet in the river, they proceeded to burn on the rocks in the heat of the day. en started to wilt a bit in the heat and the final descent was somewhat tortuous in the heat. At 8:30 pm we set off for the long drive back home, finally arriving as the sun rose for Ben's 7th birthday at 3am.
