The youth hostel has a midgeometer. I'd say that the morning registered midge mania. Only on the ridge were we free of the little blighters. From then on it was a good way to end the week, backpacking from the hostel to Achnashellach station. The station was a delight with a kitchen garden run by the owners of the B&B.
