A hard day in deep, deep snow with me trail-blazing the whole way. We saw no-one else which meant knee deep slogging the whole way, and it wasn't much easier for Ben who had to lift his legs in and out of my footsteps. We also got stuck on the road up to Fersit, so had to leave the car short of the normal departure point. Nonetheless, it was a satisfying day with tremendous views and little wind. More Pictures
This is a catalogue of my son Ben's Munro Bagging with me. We did a few around Ben's 6th birthday, but only really started ticking them off the following year, often as part of multi-day backpacks and sometimes in the winter. On 28 August 2011 we finished on Ben More with Ben having reached the ripe old age of 10 years and 3 months. Its been a great experience.
