A very blowy winters day meant that we did not continue to Beinn Fhionnlaidh as planned and no amount of persuasion could convince Ben otherwise. I can't blame him - once on the ridge we were battered by violent snow squalls that made us stagger in the gusts. The trees were a welcome relief.
